Note: This article is from Ha'Aretz, the most responsible newspaper in Israel. The politician in question is a Russian Jew who is a real horror story...ignorant, racist, fascist. He draws his support from the very large Russian emigre vote in Israel. Apparently, being on the receiving end of Nazi racism (and Soviet anti-semitism) was not a sufficient experience to cure some Russian Jews of similar racist longings and blood lust.

Lieberman's advocacy of killing his opponents is straight out of Stalin's world view.

The struggle in the West is also against savages like this.

Lieberman: Arab MK 'collaborators' should be executed

Yisrael Beiteinu Chairman Avigdor Lieberman yesterday lashed out at Israeli Arab political parties and said he hoped Arab Knesset members would be executed.

During a Knesset plenum debate, Lieberman said Arab MKs who meet with Hamas leaders "are cooperating with the enemy" and must stand trial.

MK Lieberman, whose party failed to reach a coalition deal with the Kadima party and will remain outside the government, said, "World War II ended with the Nuremberg trials and the execution of the Nazi leadership. Not only them, but also those who collaborated with them. I hope that will also be the fate of the collaborators in this House," he said, referring to the Knesset.

Lieberman said his party demanded that the government's guidelines ruled that "all those instigators and those who collaborate with terror from within this house [the Knesset] must face sentencing - all those who continue to meet with members of Hezbollah and Hamas, continue to travel to Lebanon, and those who just two days ago declared that Independence Day is Nakba Day and hoisted black flags." (Nakba - catastrophe - Day coincides with Independence Day; it is the Palestinian term for what has happened to them after 1948.)

Lieberman's words drew a sharp reaction. Labor MK Raleb Majadele said to Lieberman: "You are a racist. You do not accept the decisions of the nation. You are two-faced."

Ra'am-Ta'al MK Ahmed Tibi said Lieberman's "racist comments" were made by a "man for whom fascism has become a way of life, and racism a tool of his trade."

Ra'am MK Ibrahim Sarsur filed a complaint with the Knesset Ethics Committee against Lieberman. Lieberman's comments constituted racist incitement that is liable to lead to the spilling of Arab MKs' blood, said Sarsur.



Comment: The struggle in the West and in Australia is for a liberal social democracy which allows for genuine human freedom. Islamic terrorists and their supporters in the wider muslim communities around the world are not the only enemies we face.

Racist fascists are found everywhere, but not always elected to Parliament. This Jewish fascist has been re-elected to the Knesset in Israel in their recent elections. He leads a party of racist fascists who have 10 seats in the Knesset.

This is utterly unacceptable to Western norms of public life. The Israeli people should be ashamed of this result. How can they criticize Hamas when they produce people like this creature Lieberman who is no better than the worst that Hamas has elected to the Palestinian Legislative Council.
