Comment: Every imam in Australia would agree with every word of this event. How can they be any good for Australian Muslims?

I think that u should stop disrespecting the muslim religion cause on the day of judgment u will regret it...! Sorry i don't mean to sound rude or anything but It's just rude and any religion will not accept this not just islam! Islam its not just a religion its a whole way of life the best way of living a perfect sensibility to stop from misbehaving, I knw there r some muslims out there that have been sent astray like the terrosrist (as islam does NOT encourage that), but there are people, of that kind in every other religion like christianity, buddism, judism, atheisim and so on... If you actually looked into Islam i think u will find it to be the fairest religion with so many rights for women STOP thinking muslim women are oppresed Just coz they don't flaunt there bodies to the men does not make them oppressed just because they're dressed like that...
Surah Al-Nur (the Light) (24:31) in the Quran states: "They (the believing women) should draw their head coverings over their bosoms...". . Surah Al-Ahzab (33:59) states: "O Prophet [PBUH] Tell thy wives and daughters and the believing women that they should put on their outer garments; that is most convenient in order that THEY MAY BE RECOGNIZED (as Muslims) and not be molested."
COVERING THE HEAD IS NOT THE SIGN OF DEGRADATION or oppression.It is a commandment from Allah, who is not male or female, and thus, would not discriminate against women, a segment of His creation.
Rather, HEAD-COVERING IS A SIGN OF PURITY AND DIGNITY. It highlights the Muslim woman as a pure, chaste woman
When a woman wears a hijab she is less likely to be harassed by men with lusty motives; SHE IS LESS LIKELY TO BE EXPLOITED FOR HER BEAUTY AND FEMINITY.

My concern is for the condition of australian muslims, not for any religious ideas they or you might have.
I do not disrepect muslims. The muslims in australia need to conform to life in australia. Unless they do they will continue to be outsiders and despised, which is their situation now.
What is needed is an australian version of islam which helps them lived comfortably in australia. They do not currently live comfortably in australia.
isalm has nothing to offer australian people as a whole. it is too foreign and is seen as backward. The poverty in the middle east is seen as a result of islam. I agree with this attitude.
my personal experience of talking about islam in australia invariably leads to the personality of Mohammad. australians have general contempt for him as he is seen as having killed people and marrying a 6 year old girl (and having sex with her at 9). It is very difficult to promote such a person to australians. He is generally seen as inferior to Jesus as a religious figure and teacher. (australians generally do not like endless rounds of vengeance seeking. Jesus promoted forgiveness; islam never stops preaching vengeance.)
All this is secondary to the need for muslims in australia to conform to life here, like mormons and other small foreign and strange groups. It is to the advantage of the australian muslims to conform if they want to achieve a quiet and comfortable life.
The other alternative, if islam is so important, is to live in a muslim country. This is a sensible approach to a serious problem.
U can say what u plz, as Australia is a free country, May god open the path of truth for u...(Mike davis) U obviously don't have that respect for others, Its ppl like u that make Australia a bad place to be, i am an Australian muslim born and raised, If i wanted to be in a muslim country i would go, Mike im not going to be rude or difficult like ur reply as islam teaches to be kind and friendly even to those rude to you... and DO NOT speak about the prophet i will cut and paste what u replied and send it around...

That Talk about the prophet is all Lies!!!!!! i agree jesus is a Good Man peace be upon him! Muhammad pbuh was the greatest men created and NO he doesnt encourage revenge! Like i said if u knew anything about the prophet or even Islam u wouldnt be talking such rubbish! and NO he didnt marry a 6 year old, I guess its just your old age making you talk such dirty things respect urself so that others may respect u ur an old man its not nice to have too much enemies, i am sorry if i sound rude its that i will not or any muslim tolerate you talking about the prophet Muhammad pbuh U need to respect other ppl's beliefs otherwise u will get nowhere in life put urself in my poition and some stranger came and started making fun of ur beliefs we wouldnt mock jesus as he is our beloved prophet, But we have more respect than that! Muslims couldnt care less if Australia accepts us or not we dont need australia and its ppl like you who just burn when they see mulsims in the street but this is our country as much it is yours most of us were born here and raised here and even if they weren't this is a multicultural country so dont say where we should and shouldnt be!
